Banning all kind of advertising seems to be impossible . It is a very flexible tool for selling goods on global market and also for propaganda. Every advert has a belief system behind it. 
All around the world, from the United States of America to the Peoples Republic of China, state firms and private companies are using ads in communication process with masses to influence them. 
It is not a business  of anyone on Earth to ban any form of communication between people, especially between masters and servants. Even in Peoples Republic of Poland there were some advertisements. Naturally they were not an effect of a competition between companies, because  only one poor service, one railway tycoon and one telecommunication agent was present on the market. Private firms were not allowed to compete on a market, so they were not able to produce ads. Normal people used ads to tell others that they want to sell something, get a job or just search for anything. These adverts could not have been controlled by the communist party. Simple words written by an anonymous author on a wall or in a public transport were always a part of fight against system.
Disadvantages of arts are as strong as its advantages. A huge number of ads flood mass media and also a real world. Thousands of billboard make important signs hardly readable  for drivers. 
Maybe we should not ban advertising at all but make some restriction to decrease its influence on our lives. It is also a goal for education to strengthen young people against simple marketing tricks. Banning  advertising would be seen as a new totalitarianism , especially by Poles.
